My experience of connecting with Krishna consciousness







I am a big fan of Marathi television serial Devashapath. I do not miss a single episode. All concepts like karma, freewill, destiny, divine intervention, power of intention or thoughts, power of prayer etc are beautifully presented in form of entertaining story.  In this story lord Krishna lives with one family in human avatar to prove his existence to one extremely successful person who is atheist but very hard working, intelligent, ethical, fair and kind-hearted soul.

One day while watching this TV serial I was completely enthralled by one scene, it moved me to tears, spontaneously I prayed “Dear lord Krishna you are absolutely amazing, I love you so much, will you please come to my home ?”

After making this wish from bottom of my heart I spent next few moments in childlike wonderment, thinking wow what if this wish come true! How will it come true?.

Later I got busy with my routine work. On the same day my husband flew to Bangalore to attend wedding of his client’s daughter. At night I called him to check if he has landed in Banglore or not. He said “Hey this ISKON temple is so beautiful...” My reaction was “what are you doing there” He said “Dear wedding is in temple so I will be staying in temple itself for next 3 days.” His words reminded me what I had wished in the morning. I acknowledged and thanked this divine synchronicity. Later I forgot about it.

Three days later when my husband returned home early morning, handing over one small gift box he said “Check what I bought for you, I hope you like it.”

That gift left me in awe. It was a beautiful idol of Krishna. I thanked Krishna from bottom of my heart. Just three days back I requested krishna to come to my home; my husband was totally unaware of my silent communication with divine; he is not a kind of person who gifts casually and that too gifting idols of any deities totally out of his league!

Yet Krishna found his way to reach to my home. This was pure magic.

I thanked lord Krishna once again for fulfilling my wish! Since then this beautiful idol is part of my altar.

On the same day around 1 pm, living room of my house was filled with fragrance of chandan (sandlewood). I checked with my maid if she had lit the candle or chandan flavored agarbatti but she had not. I opened main door, checked through windows trying to trace the source of this fragrance but could not trace the source. That fragrance had really great vibrations. It uplifted my mood.

I immediately called up my friend - Shubhada to narrate this incident, she said “Charu we know this is a sign from angels, but do you remember Prachi master (our Reiki teacher) had once said chandan fragrance is a sign of presence of Krishna...”

I was stunned. I got clear sign. Shubhada was not aware of my wish and what had happened in the morning. I was overwhelmed; my heart was jumping with joy.
